Counter Escape – HANDCOP®

Whilst many manufacturers are adding additional security features to their products to counter escape tools, the HANDCOP® consists of only one component, meaning there are no design or manufacturing weaknesses to exploit. Only incorrect application of the HANDCOP® provides an opportunity for escape.

Always double-lock the HANDCOP®. It is extremely resistant to abrasion and heat, and the simple 550 paracord friction-saw escape method is not effective.

The HANDCOP® can also be used to increase the security of standard metal handcuffs, making shimming significantly more difficult. Additionally, it can be used to secure a detained person to an anchor point to restrict their movement.
